Entry Fees
Fees are set centrally by the University and are subject to change annually. For current fees please email elizabeth.whangapirita@otago.ac.nz for details of fees and payment options.
You are required to pay an enrolment fee of $900.00 of which $600.00 is refundable after receipt of written withdrawal of application.
Payment Options
After paying your enrolment fee, there are three ways that you may choose to pay your accommodation fees:
Option One:
Payment in full. You may elect to pay your fees in full at the beginning of the year.
Option Two:
Quarterly Payment. The second option available is to pay 4 equal quarterly payments.
Option Three:
Weekly Direct Debit Payment. You may choose to make an initial lump sum payment at the beginning of the year followed by 38 weekly direct debit payments.
Notes on Fees
All Fees are paid in New Zealand dollars. We accept cash, cheques, EFTPOS and Direct Debit.
Your residential agreement is for the 38 academic year.
Your fees cover almost every expense associated with living in Cumberland College, this includes free photocopying up to 200 copies and minimal charge for printing.
Telephone rental is available in room but must be booked with application acceptance. The cost for this is $250.00 for the academic year.
