Group Functions and Meetings
Cumberland College has a number of rooms available throughout the academic year that may be hired out for meetings, seminars or group functions and Cumberland's own excellent kitchen is able to cater for your requirements.
The Green Room is Cumberland College's formal common room and can comfortably seat 30 people. This room is currently undergoing renovations and will shortly boast a wonderful formal atmosphere with doors leading to a private garden with outdoor gas fire - perfect for your next small group function!
The Castle Lounge can comfortably seat 30 - 40 people and is equipped with a large projector and flat screen TV. Cumberland also has a number of other rooms available for use - please refer to our Room and Catering reservation information.
Group Accommodation
Cumberland College is available for bookings during the summer break (mid-November to early February) for group accommodation.
With campus on one side and the Dunedin city centre on the other Cumberland is the perfect place for sports teams, schools groups, reunions, wedding functions and other large groups.
Our characteristic building and excellent facilities provide a memorable environment for your event! Dining facilities at the College can cater for up to 300 guests per evening or alternatively we will provide a smaller group with an intimate dining area.
Menus and costs can be tapered to meet your needs, with packed lunches available on request. Large TV Rooms, Games area, Tennis Court and meeting rooms are available for your use. Another bonus is the therapeutic swimming pool right next door.
